What I mean by this is that one of the greatest lessons I have learned on my mission is that Everything no matter how broad or different a subject it may be, There is always a connection. If this were the true Gospel (which it UNDOUBTABLY IS) then everything taught in it would tie together (which it does)\

First let me just start by saying this…. MEET THE MORMONS WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! We got a special screening of it before it came out and let me just say that I loved EVERY single part of it!
While I was watching it, it demonstrated to me a perfect example of what it is like to truly have Christ like attributes! Faith, Humility, Charity and love, Diligence, Obedience, Hope, Virtue, Knowledge, And Patience. Seriously watch this movie! That is yet again this weeks assignment, and I want a detailed account of your thoughts on the movie and how you can apply it to your life!

ARE STAYING TOGETHER ANOTHER TRANSFER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well I am sooooo glad that drama is done and over with! Another awesome transfer with one of my best comps…………..
OH….. MY……GOSH………………
ONLY 18 WEEKS LEFT!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
and what’s worse is that in the transfer after this one, We’ll be going through both Thanksgiving and Christmas, so that one is going to fast no matter where I am at or whom I’m with!
…….
Anyway back to more important things. with this new transfer our area actually gotten smaller again! But fortunately we still got some great investigators, one of which has a baptismal date for the 8th of November! This is going to be a really great transfer!

Hey Y’all Your favorite missionary is here! Well to get right to the point let me explain why The title is the way that it is. It is in commemoration of the New Movie, Meet the Mormons! in fact that is this week’s weekly assignment: see the Movie: Meet the Mormons And then tell me about it.
For those of you who haven’t looked up conference yet this is your chance to catch up by watching the talks and then emailing me what you learned from it!
Any Way on to the good stuff……. Well I’ll be honest, this past week has been a little bit slow… and by slow I mean Everybody was flipping canceling on us! I truly love doing missionary work, but sometimes it can be just downright frustrating! Oh well… I guess if it was not easy for Jesus and all the other prophets of old, should be no different for us….. At least people aren’t throwing rocks at us, crucifying us, burning us, throwing us to the lions, and etc.
Elder Hansen Is so great! He is literally one of my best companions! Even though he is a total sports fanatic and I am going into a depression for missing the newest SUPER SMASH BROS GAME, we have a lot in common, And share a strong love for the Gospel!
……. man I do not like it when nothing much happens… Fortunately this week, Y’all get pictures!

Well I am at the last week of this transfer…. I a have strong feeling that Elder Hansen and I will be together for another transfer….. Man and to think that in the transfer after this next one I will be going through both thanksgiving and Christmas…. and then at the end of the transfer after that one… I’m going home……..

Well I hope the title of this email sums up some of the more prominent feelings within me at this moment. What’s worse is that we are now currently on the fastest months of the Year. Seriously, think about it: Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New years Eve. Those are the biggest Holidays of the year! Time always goes faster during those times! And I’m missionary! Time is already going way to fast to me!
Well got some very EXCITING news! Remember when I was serving in Kountze? Well also remember that lady we found in the bus that also had the son who died but then came back to life? Well her name was Star……. And she is getting baptized next week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was soooooooooo happy to hear that.I will admit that I was a bit worried there for a while, but I’ll be honest I was completely surprised that she was going to get baptized this transfer.
Well unfortunately our area is at that awkward stage where it is on verge of blooming…… but its not there yet.
Elder Hansen and I have come up with an awesome new activity: We call it the “principal game.” What we do is this, We give each other a commitment for the other to work on and we think and study about it, and then at the end of the day we discuss what we learned. for example I have been give the principal of thinking about how my decisions affect others.
So here is what I am going to do for this weekly assignment. I want Y’all to get with your immediate families (that also includes step family members) and give each of them a principal that they can work on this week. and then discuss it this Sunday. For the assignment that will get you a handwritten letter: Watch General conference this week (Both Saturday and Sunday) and tell me your favorite talk that you felt spoke most to you. Also this is a great time to catch up on any weekly reading assignment form the past few weeks, you can still get a letter from them!

I cannot Believe how fast time has gone! Half of this transfer is already over! Time is going faster and faster! Its so hard at times to keep my journal updated at times! I almost forget to write memorable moments like this one: So I am driving the car and Elder Hansen and I are talking. Suddenly he asks, “have you ever gotten a speeding ticket?” Then I say, “No.” After a few more seconds he suddenly tells me “you should probably slow down.” I do so…. but unfortunately a cop signals us to pull over. While the cop is walking over to us, I am giving Elder Hansen the most evil glare I can manage, saying “This is all your fault! You jinxed me!” Fortunately The cop let me off with a warning And we were off! This note is just for the parents, Don’t scold me I know what I did wrong, and for the most part anyway I more careful.
Being in a rich area has its good sides and its bad sides. Good side is that we practically get fed every day! Bad side is that it is harder to get lessons here than any other place I have served.
Just a friendly reminder to Y’all, WEEKLY READING. this week I believe we are in the last 7 chapters of 3rd Nephi! Well I have definitely gained a lot from this study on Christ! Remember, those who read and send me an email about what they learned will get a handwritten letter!
just a little hint of what is probably coming next, General conference is coming up and I am very excited for that! Well this week should be a very lesson filled one so I am excited!

Hey Everybody! Dang…………. time is just not your friend on a mission. It is so hard to get that balance of just having the right amount to do, but much of the time it seems that we either have too little or even to much (which is not too bad, but it can cause some real stress problems).
The area is doing really well, We had an awesome lesson with a lady named Cindy and her family. While I am not sure about the rest of her family, she is practically Golden! seriously! Guess what her definition of a prophet was: one who is called of God to declare his word and interpret/prophesy of the past, present, and future! The lesson got so much better from there! And it only got better and better! She even cried by the end of our lesson!
Elder Hansen is really great! if you look at the picture below he is the Elder on you right hand side.
He is a great help to me and this area!
Well here’s an interesting story: While we were at the door of this investigator for our appointment with him, he answered the door…… not fully clothed and told us that he was having lunch. needles to say we were not able to teach him today, but now I have another interesting story to tell.
Well hopefully I will have a lot more to tell next week. Until then!

Hey Y’all! Well it is your favorite time of the week! Receiving your email from me!
As usual time is going faster and faster! I can scarcely believe it at times!
Well this area is a really good one and it has a lot of potential! A little interesting fact about the area I serve in: It has recently quadrupled in size! Because there were not that many English sister missionaries to keep it open. so we inherited all the sisters members, potentials and even investigators! We have a lot of work ahead of us!
the members here are really awesome and I am very excited to work with them! We are very well fed here
Elder Hansen and I are really getting a long great! He is such an awesome missionary! he may have only been out on the mission for 12 weeks but he already teaches like he has out a year!
Guess what happened yesterday? We got totally soaked by the rain! Normally I would not mind, especially if I were in Arizona, but it is a whole other story when you are wearing a white shirt and tie!
But I am still alive so I am very happy!
Guess WHAT?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!? I have heard a rumor that a General Authority may be coming to this stake next month! I hope this is true!
Well this is going to be a very exciting week for weekly reading!…. as of tomorrow on chapter 11 of 3 Nephi we are reading the Savior’s ministry to the People in America! have fun with that!

I got TRANSFERED! Yeah that’s right! only a single transfer in the wonderful area of Kountze! I will not lie, I was absolutely devastated at first… But God did what He always does best at, He humbled me. And now I am in the great area of Kingwood! While I may be out of the country, I am at least not in any ghetto areas. My new companion goes by the name, Elder Hansen, he has only been out for 12 weeks and just got finished training. And get this: At transfer meeting before I even knew where I was going and who I was going to be with, President Drake came up to me and told me, “This next area and companion is going to prepare you.” I don’t know about Y’all, But since I am “post-training” Elder Hansen, I am taking it that I may very well be training soon!
Well guess what also?! After 19 months of serving my mission, only now have I fully incorporated my talents in singing in teaching lessons. And let me say that it has been amazing! It has brought the spirit strongly in the lessons we have taught!
Unfortunately that’s all the juicy news I have for this week, but from what I have heard about this area I will have plenty to tell next week.
Oh! Almost forgot to remind y’all about weekly reading. Currently we are in the Book of Mormon (finally) and are in more specifically the book of 3rd Nephi chapters 4 or 5 I believe.

Well the meeting with Elder Cook went absolutely amazing…. but unfortunately we were not allowed to record anything in there, so no video of me singing, sorry…… but, Both Elder and Sister Cook gave directly to me great praise for the song I sang (I sung “come thou font of every blessing”). I felt really happy. But the BEST part (yes even better than music) was when he gave the entire mission an apostolic blessing! In his blessing he promised that our familes home would be taken care of, and that tey would be well. He also promised us baisically aid in our trials and that the trials we have been and/or going through would help us bless the lives of others!
It was so exciting! It was also very humbling, because when we met him, sure I felt the spirit so uniquely powerfully, but he was still just a man…An Extremely obedient, spiritual, and awesome one albelit… but still a man. Its jsust one of those things that you have to experience for yourself! But Ya totally awesome!
For this weeks weekly reading I belive that we are in john 18 and will be transtioning into 3rd Nephi after that is over. Remeber to start in Ch. 1.
I absolutely cannot belive that it is the last week in the transfer! Time is seriously going faster and fatser it is almost too rediculous!
Oh we had an awesome miracle happen this last week! So we have this 48 year old investigator named star, Well when we went over to see turns out that the previous hour she got a call that her som was stabbed to death that mormning, so the poor woman was in a mess. so we taught her the plan of salvation and gave her a blessing… no more that than 5 minuets later she gets a call that they were able to revive her son! It was so awesome to see all that unfold, not only that but it really helped open star up to us more.
Well that is todays update on the wonderful life a missionary!

You will not believe IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been asked to sing a special musical number for Elder Cook!!!!!!!!!!! I honestly cannot believe how happy I am right NOW! And to make it better, Remeber the Halleys? Well….. They got baptized this last Saturday!!!!!!!!! It was honestly one of the best baptisms I have ever been to, I have had 10 so far on my mission! You know when I first came out here I was almost not expecting to get any baptismas at all, But look at all that God has blessed me with, It more awesome beyond words!
Elder Case and I are still getting along very well, He is a really awesome guy! We joke fight almost all the time, someone once said while observing us that we talked like an old married couple! That got a few good laughs!
I honestly cannot belive that this transfer is almost over! It seemed like yesterday that we were starting it!
Well either way the weekly reading still is going on! We are currently still in the Book of John, This week we are starting with chapters 11-17.
